Review: Dosilato by Interstate 420
It’s been almost an entire year since my last Interstate 420 review. The NuEra sub-label has continued to focus on heavy hitting, classic-leaning genetics. I recently stopped at NuEra Champaign and picked up an eighth of Dosilato to review.
Dosilato is an indica-leaning hybrid cross of Dosidos and Gelato #41. This batch of flower tested at 0.707% CBDa, 0.581% THC, 22.652% THCa, and 23.94% total cannabinoids. Terpenes were 0.97% of the total weight with limonene, β-caryophyllene, α-humulene, and linalool indicated as the heaviest.

Six rounded popcorn-sized flowers with a few sub-popcorn pieces carried a uniform olive-green coloring from the base flower out into the sugar leaves. Small, short bunches of thin fire-orange hairs were tucked into the surface. A solidly milky trichome frost helped to lighten the overall color profile. The buds had a spongy, lively bounce when squeezed and a sticky, tacky center.
Earthy top notes of black pepper, wet slate, and diesel floated atop much sweeter undertones of uncooked cookie dough, heavy whipping cream, and candied lilac. The flavor was more of the same as the black pepper and diesel took up most of the profile with the cookie dough and floral lilac tones appearing on the exhale. The creamy cookie dough was the stickiest of the flavors, coating the mouth and clinging to the tongue for several minutes.
The Girl Scout Cookie genetic origins of Dosilato came through in the experience as a heavy headband and brow pressure set in almost immediately after smoking. A wave of serenity washed over me as my anxieties were tamped down, taking my motivation with them. As the wave of physical pressure crested at the peak, an allover muscle relaxation took over, leaving me with a pleasant floating sensation. The end of each sesh was punctuated with a strong case of the munchies as the rest of the effect profile faded.
