Review: Float Away Chocolates by Zoi
I recently had the opportunity to review the entire line of new Zoi Smiles infused chocolates. After starting with the Roll Away Caramels and Fly Away Mints, I’m finishing up the series with the Float Away Raspberry Dark Chocolates.
Zoi Float Away Raspberry Dark Chocolates come as a 5-pack of chocolates infused with 10mg of THC per piece. Each cube-shaped chocolate was almost an inch on each side. The side profile revealed three layers of equal thickness. The top and bottom were a deep coffee-brown dark chocolate that contrasted against the bright and creamy pastel pink of the center layer. Consistent across the layers, the texture had an initial crumble but started to melt quickly in the mouth.

The flavor had a similar “layered” profile as the appearance. Initially warm and rich, the dark chocolate was heavy with cocoa. The raspberry was bright and natural but subtle, adding a supporting sweetness to the dark chocolate without overpowering it. The cannabis infusion was very well concealed, and you could have convinced me these were uninfused samples on flavor alone.
Float Aways hit above their 10mg weight limit, delivering a heavy, weighted body buzz that pulled simultaneously at my arms, legs, and eyelids within a half hour. The mental shift was also stronger than anticipated, wiping my slate clean with a spaced-out, tiring headbuzz that was good for helping me get to bed.
The ingredients were sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa bean, milk, sunflower lecithin, coconut oil, vanilla, glucose syrup, raspberry pulp, citric acid, elderberry concentrate, starch, rice protein, vegetable juice (beet red), and MCT.
