Continuing with the Cronja strain reviews (Illemonati, Melted Cherries, Ism Punch, Chicago Runtz, and Knockout #12), I rounded out this batch with Cronja’s Gusher.

Gusher is an indica-dominant hybrid strain created by crossing Gelato #41 and Triangle Kush. This quarter ounce of flower tested at 1.197% THC, 25.382% THCa, and 27.707% total cannabinoids. This batch came as three large buds with a couple smaller buds to round out the weight. The dense buds were dark green and purple with a heavy coating of creamy trichomes.

The aroma from the pouch hit with earthy-sweet pine, hard cream candies, herbal berries, and fruity hops. The flavor carried sweeter notes of berries, grapes, creamy cookies, and tropical fruit with hints of earthy pine, spicy kush, and herbal spice, especially on the inhale. The exhale flipped the earthy pine, kush, and herbal pine as the major notes and the berries, grapes, and creamy cookies as the back notes.

The effects hit with a quick, euphoric mental relaxation that relieved stress and racing thoughts. The relatively clearheaded head high kept me on an even keel, not too energetic or tired. The body buzz had a quick headband sensation onset and the muscle relief started in the arms and legs, spreading a tingling and floating feeling inward. The full-body buzz gave that melting sensation that reduced motivation for movement. Late in the buzz and with multiple doses, Gusher became slightly sedative, but overall, landed in the hybrid middle for effects.
