After reviewing Banoreoz as part of Ozone’s brand relaunch, I picked up Ozone’s Happy Hour from Springfield Ascend Wellness to review.

Happy Hour is a 50/50-hybrid cross of Strawberry Jelly and Don Mega, bred by Solfire. Primary terpenes included myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene, and pinene. This eighth tested at 39.95% THCa, 0.51% THC, and 35.54% total THC. The eighth came as three huge spade-shaped buds covered in white trichomes. The buds were dark green with shades of purple and had a slight foxtail to them.

The aroma delivered notes of sweet pine, diesel, earthy strawberry, coffee, citrus, and berries. The flavor hit with citrus, earthy pine, sweet berries, peppery kush, and diesel. The citrus, berries, and pine dominated the front end of the inhale. The earthy pepper, sweet kush, and diesel filled the exhale.

The effects landed right in the middle with a head high that put me in chill mode and a heavy body buzz. The head high had a quick onset, including a headband pressure around the eyes and top of the head. Neither motivated nor sedated, neither clearheaded nor muddled, my thoughts fell into a chill mode and were suited for small social events or relaxing around the house.

The body buzz was a creeper and did not reach full effect until more than twenty minutes into the buzz. In full effect, the buzz covered head to toe with a sinking relaxation that eased muscle and joint aches. The body buzz kept me stationary but not couchlocked. Happy Hour also consistently boosted my appetite.
