Review: Holy GMOly by Sol Canna
I picked up three Sol Canna strains from The Dispensary Champaign to review. I previously reviewed Wedding Fritter and Triangle Irene and finished the trio of reviews with the strain Holy GMOly.
Holy GMOly is a hybrid cross breeders have kept secret that moistly includes Red Pop, Runtz, and GMO. This batch tested at 34.960% THCa, 0.346% THC, 0.655% CBGa, and 31.006% Total THC. Primary terpenes included limonene, myrcene, b-caryophyllene, and a-humulene with total terpenes reaching 1.832%.

The eighth came as several pointy thumb-sized buds. The dense buds consisted of dark purple, almost black, sugar leaves mixed with olive and lighter green leaves and snugged dark-orange pistils. The aroma delivered pine, hops, sweet fruit, pepper, earthy berry, kush, and sour gas mixed with the garlic-onion funk. The flavored followed the aroma but with heavier sweet fruit notes, and occasionally, the back end of the exhale carried an enticing sweet candy and sugar note that begged for another hit.
The hybrid effects leaned a little toward the indica side but started with a quick uplifting onset that hit the head with a heaviness around the eyes and base of the neck. The head high delivered a mental relaxation that also was happy and uplifting that acted as a pressure release for stress. The head high was relatively clearheaded and social but with high doses could cause some thought wandering and, late in the buzz, sedation. The heavy body buzz also was fast acting, releasing tightness in my neck and shoulders. At its peak, the body buzz provided a heavy blanket feeling that eases muscle aches and pains.
