I keep trying to find a Bedford Grow sativa that fits as a Work Sativa, but really haven’t found one that fits all criteria. The closest I have found has been sativa-leaning hybrid OZ Kush BX2. I thought the Illinois Cannabis Cup entry Pootie Tang or AJ Sour Diesel would fit. AJ Sour Diesel fit most criteria, along with Lou’s Legacy, which was listed as a hybrid.
Recently, I sampled Orange Whip, another hybrid, and though it didn’t fit all the criteria, I found the strain to be a better Work Sativa than most of Bedford Grow’s other strains listed as sativa. Orange Whip is an in-house cross of Orange Afghani and Chemneisa. This batch tested at 26.15% THCa, 0.86% THC, 0.47% CBGa, and 27.48% total cannabinoids. Primary terpenes included β-Myrcene, Limonene, β-Caryophyllene, α-Humulene, and Linalool.
The light green dense but bulbous buds were well trimmed and cured. The aroma hit with chemmy pine, citrus, and earthy hops. The flavor delivered a chemmy orange that mixed with back notes of hops, cinnamon, sour pine, and floral. The back note flavors changed with each hit.
The potent effects started with a quick onset cerebral high that settled heavy in the crown of my head, including eyes and forehead. The buzz delivered energetic affects and a happy work mentality. Orange Whip had focus, unless I dosed too much, then the focus waned but eventually returned. The head high last longer than expected and continually put me in a great mood-elevating frame of mind. The headspace worked well wit the body buzz was overall euphoric and relaxation body buzz.
