I’ve been inside several dispensaries across Illinois, but when I’m in Wheeling visiting my sponsors at Aroma Grow Store, I always try to stop in at Hatch Wheeling. Hatch Wheeling reminds me more of a high-end smoke shop that also sells cannabis than a rush-you-through-line retail store. Hatch Wheeling, as mentioned before, has one of the best varieties of rigs, bongs, and other smoking devises of any dispensary in Illinois.

Although I did not pick up a smoking device while visiting a couple weeks ago, I picked up a concentrate I had wanted but had not been able to try since I first saw it on the menu: Pink Lemonade Live Resin Sugar by Aerīz.

Pink Lemonade is a sativa-dominant hybrid cross of Purple Kush and Lemon Skunk. This batch tested at 5.13% THC, 75.77% THCa, and 81.60% total cannabinoids. The leading terpenes included alpha-pinene, beta-caryophyllene, beta-myrcene, elemene, and limonene.

The aroma of the amber Pink Lemonade Live Resin Sugar was citrusy with notes of kush. The flavor stood out most with strong lemon and grapefruit and subtle hints of sweet kush and tart berries.

The effects were uplifting with a cerebral buzz that retained focus for the first half of the high, but the overall effects also had a relaxation to it that took away any raciness from the energetic buzz. With extra doses and toward the end of the high, the mind became more hazy and less energetic.

The Pink Lemonade body buzz was more calming than heavy. When at its peak, the body buzz caught up to the head high and made the overall buzz more relaxing. For those who enjoy sativa without the raciness, Pink Lemonade might be a good choice.

Overall, Pink Lemonade would fit into our Work Sativa review series but also has the traditional hybrid effects late in the buzz.
