Review: Punch Breath by Bedford Grow
I have reviewed enough Bedford Grow flower to know what to expect out of each strain, but when I noticed Bedford Grow added Punch Breath to its lineup, I was a little shocked. I’m a fan of sweet cookie dough and fruity flavors, so I picked up from Maribis Springfield on Grandview a few grams for review.
Punch Breath is an indica-leaning hybrid (70%/30%) created through crossing the Mendo Breath and Purple Punch. This batch tested at 23.10% THCa, 0.46% THC, 0.54% CBGa, and 24.10% total cannabinoids. Primary terpenes included limonene, β-myrcene, α-pinene, β-caryophyllene, and β-pinene.

Trichomes powdered the dense buds that were a mix of light green, dark, green, purple, and orange.
The aroma provided berries and pine with earthy and sweet overtones. The flavor was a collage of sweet cookie dough, fruity grape, and tart berries with back notes of earthy pine, vanilla, and bubblegum. Each hit mixed some form of sweet pastry and candy berries.

The onset hit quick with a tingly head high that was uplifting and relaxing at the same time. Though potent, the head high was relatively clear and soothing. When I dosed a little too much, my thoughts would wander a little and the heaviness of the high rested in the base of the head. My spirits were lifted until I tired at the very end of the buzz.
The onset of the body buzz also hit quickly, delivering a heavy tingly relaxation in the muscles for a full-bodied high that lasted for hours. Twice, the strain helped my nausea and boosted my appetite. And after binging television for a few hours while medicating, I became tired and slept well both nights.

Overall, Punch Breath was a little out of the expected chemmy, gassy, orangey, and kushy flavors I expect from Bedford Grow, but the strain fit into the quality of flower that Bedford Grow cultivates.
