Review: Milk Chocolate by Bhang
After the last gummies binge, I switched back to infused chocolates. My usual go-to is Bhang chocolates. The last time I passed through Springfield, I stopped off at Maribis Grandview and picked up a box of Milk Chocolate by Bhang. I’d already reviewed the Ice Chocolate and Cookies and Cream Milk Chocolate and had been waiting for Maribis to stock the Milk Chocolate.
The Milk Chocolate came with four packs filled with a square of chocolate that could be divided into fourths. Each packet of four squares contained 25mg of THC. The bars smelled of typical milk chocolate and cocoa.

The milk chocolate’s flavor hit first with creamy milk chocolate that would be satisfying for a non-infused sweet treat. Not one Bhang chocolate I’ve reviewed has carried a cannabis taste to it.
The ingredients included sugar, milk solids, cocoa butter, cocoa solids, cannabis oil, lecithin (sunflower and soy), and vanilla. According Bhang, its “culinary infusion of medical marijuana begins with fairly traded Venezuelan criollo cacao and only the finest natural ingredients.”

The effects consistently matched with 25mg of THC per package, but I again found Bhang chocolates to be more energetic than other edibles. Along with the energy, though, also came a strong cerebral buzz that gave me a bit of short-term memory loss.
I didn’t eat these edibles right before bed, but instead, I ate them a few hours before I wanted to fall asleep to let the energetic effects to transition into the more sedative effects that came during the second half of the buzz.

Overall, Bhang, a multiple Cannabis Cup Champion, is consistent and reliable for when I need a change from other infused edibles. Always tasty and potent.
