Review: Reishi Lemon Milk Chocolate Bar by OURS
Variety is the spice of life…and product lineups. Nature’s Grace and Wellness and OURS have followed this path during the brand’s recent collaboration by releasing both a Lion’s Mane Vanilla Dark Chocolate Bar and the new Reishi Lemon Milk Chocolate Bar. I recently stopped into Trinity on Glen and picked up a bar to review.
NGW X OURS Reishi Lemon Milk Chocolate Bar is infused with 50mg of THC, 50mg of CBD, 50mg of CBG, and 1g of Reishi mushrooms. The ingredients are sugar, vegetable oil (hydrogenated palm kernel oil and cottonseed oil), nonfat dry milk, cocoa processed with alkali, glyceryl lacto esters of fatty acids, soy lecithin, salt, reishi mushroom powder, cannabis oil, and flavors.
Visually, the Reishi Lemon Milk Chocolate Bar was a traditional affair. Roughly 4-and-half-inches long and an inch-and-a-half wide, the creamy milk chocolate bar was portioned into 5 easy to break-off pieces for a dose of 10mg THC, 10mg CBD, and 10mg CBG.
The flavor was as traditional as the look with a creamy milk chocolate throughout the bar. The slight grittiness I had found in the Lion’s Mane version was completely gone, leaving only a smooth mouthfeel. The lemon flavor was very hard to detect and only acted to push back against the very light mushroom flavor found on the back end of the profile.
The bar took just over an hour before the effects became noticeable with a positive mood boost and anxiety relief clearing my head. Pain and inflammation relief started in my back before moving outward as an overall sensation of physical lightness. This physically light, anxiety free, and easygoing experience stuck with me for slightly more than two hours before tapering off.
Fans of classic chocolate and easygoing daytime effects will be well served by this one. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
