NuEra officially announced the launch of a new product line of solventless concentrates, including Bubble Hash, Rosin, and the Dubble Joint. Solventless Concentrates are concentrated forms of cannabis extracted from flower without using ethanol, butane, or other chemicals typically used to create concentrates. Though I’m going to try to circle back to review the bubble hash separately, this review is for the Dubble Joint pre-rolls.

Dubble Joints are a combination of bubble hash and ground popcorn flower that creates a high-potency infused pre-roll with more flavorful and a slower burn. According to NuEra, “‘Dubble’ comes from the fact that the bubble hash and flower combination makes for double the flavor and double the effect.”

The Sandmann Dubble Joint is a combination of Mr. Clean bubble hash and Pillow Factory popcorn flower. Mr. Clean is a cross between The Cube and Lime Skunk. Pillow Factory is a cross between Black Fire x Mandarin Sunset. These pre-rolls tested at 32.75% total cannabinoids and 2.7% total terpenes. The terpenes on the container listed caryophyllene and terpinolene as the top terpenes, and from the aroma and flavors, I’m betting limonene, myrcene, ocimene, and elemene.

Two 0.6g pre-rolls scented the inside of the small cylinder container with pine, citrus, and sweet earthiness. It was suggested I open the end of the joint and massage the bubble hash and flower to the top to help the joint burn better, and it seemed to work well.

With the first few hits, the Mr. Clean bubble hash dominated with lemon, floral, and pine flavors from the limonene and terpinolene. As the joint burned down, the Pillow Factory flavors blended in sweet spice and pepper musk from the myrcene and caryophyllene. The last of the joint was mostly the earth, pepper, and musk from the Pillow Factory. The terpinolene also added floral notes to the overall flavor throughout.

The effects followed the flavor in that the Mr. Clean bubble hash dominated the front of the cerebral buzz, and the Pillow Factory flower followed with a body buzz that landed later in the high. The onset was quicker and stronger than the NuEra pre-rolls I’d reviewed, and the Dubble Joint burned better the flower pre-rolls.

The first part of the buzz delivered a strong uplifting and euphoric cerebral high that slowly tapered. As the cerebral buzz decreased, the body buzz caught up and, eventually, took over as the stronger buzz. The buzz ended with the Pillow Factory’s sedative influence and was effective for quality sleep. I also ate well after smoking each pre-roll.

Most the time, 0.5g pre-rolls leave me wanting a bit more, but I was satisfied with my high after smoking the full joint myself. The Dubble Joints “strains” also come in Mr. Meltdown (Mr. Clean and Meltdown), LSDreams (LSD and Blue Dream), and Day Dreamz (Dream bubble hash and Blue Dream flower).

Overall, I enjoyed the Dubble Joint more than the flower joint and am interested in trying the different combinations. For more ILNJ reviews, click here.
