Review: Yuzu Zone 1:1 THC: CBG Gummies by Bits
While cannabis holds a special position among herbal medicines, cultivators are increasingly exploring the wider world of natural wellness alternatives by blending traditional cannabis edibles with other plants and fungi to amplify the beneficial effects. Verano‘s Bits line embraces this approach, offering a variety of infused options that leverage a wide range of plant-derived compounds to achieve specific experience profiles. Intrigued, I recently visited Zenleaf Prospect Heights and picked up a sample of Bits Yuzu Zone 1:1 THC: CBG gummies to see how Verano fits a more diverse botanical palette into its products.
Bits Yuzu Zone gummies come as a 20 pack of 1:1 gummies with 5mg of THC and 5mg of CBG each. They also contain ginseng and reishi mushrooms. The full ingredients are sugar, water, pectin, sodium bicarbonate, natural flavors, BNG, cannabis extract, ginseng, reishi mushroom, sodium citrate, natural coloring, and MCT oil.
Each gummy was a small, bright yellow triangle, measuring just under half an inch in thickness and no larger than a dime in diameter. They had a sandy-sugar coating and a firm texture that resembled a stale gumdrop when chewed.
The flavor was sweet on the front end, a combination of overripe tropical fruit and artificial banana notes, followed closely by a strong medicinal flavor that carried some bitterness as well. Fortunately, the entire affair was very short-lived on the palate, and while the medicinal flavor had an impact, it disappeared with a clean, quick finish.
The Yuzu Zone Bits had a similar effect to other CBG ratio products. They created a clean, positive, and energetic headspace, accompanied by a pleasant tingling sensation of physical euphoria. At around 20-30 mg, work was a breeze, and it was easy to stay focused and motivated. Plus, they boosted my mood and helped me brush off things that would usually frustrate me.
While I didn’t notice much impact from the ginseng or reishi mushroom, I appreciated the idea of adding more natural adaptogens to my diet. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
