Sunnyside opens adult use dispensary in Danville
Today, Cresco Labs, a cannabis and medical marijuana company based in Chicago, opened a new adult use dispensary in east central Illinois.
Sunnyside Danville, located at in a completely renovated building at 369 Lynch Drive, is now taking online orders for recreational cannabis products.
Sunnyside Danville’s hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, seven days a week.
The store is the first adult-use only dispensary in eastern Illinois and Sunnyside’s sixth Illinois dispensary.
Sunnyside is Cresco Labs’ national retail brand, and its brand products are grouped into three benefits to get customers through the day: Rise (sativa), Refresh (hybrid), and Rest (indica).
Employing a consumer-packaged goods (“CPG”) approach to cannabis, Cresco’s house of brands includes Cresco, Remedi, and Mindy’s, a line of edibles created by James Beard Award-winning chef Mindy Segal.
Currently on the Sunnyside Danville menu is some of Cresco Labs popular flower strains, including Apple Rock Candy (hybrid), Bio Jesus (indica), and Face Mints (indica).
The menu also lists flower products from Cresco Labs’ line of High Supply, including hybrid and indica shake and small buds, as well as sativa popcorn buds.
According to Cresco Labs’ website, High Supply is quality cannabis available in bulk with buds that are expertly grown, lab-tested, and available in popcorn, shake, pre-rolls, and vapes.
Danville’s menu also lists several pre-rolls, concentrates, edibles, and beverages on the menu.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the store will operate through online orders only and with in-store pickups. Customer can pre-order online by creating an account (click here).
With an account, customers can shop and browse the live inventory, add products to a cart, and checkout. Then submit the order.
Online ordering is available from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Sunnyside will message the customer once the order is submitted and then again when the order is ready for pick up.
At the dispensary, customers are required to wear masks and must maintain social distancing while shopping in store. Customers will have to show ID and order confirmation.
For safety and wellbeing, Sunnyside is limiting the number of customers inside the store at one time.

Cresco’s other operational Sunnyside dispensaries are located in Wrigleyville Chicago, Elmwood Park, Buffalo Grove, Rockford, and Champaign.
The Company will soon open its seventh store in the River North neighborhood of Chicago. Three additional locations are planned for central business district in Chicago, South Beloit, and Schaumburg.
