Review: Yellow Brick Road Live Badder by Bedford Grow
Bedford Grow has several new and re-released strains out in concentrates on dispensary menus right now, so I picked up a few of them from Springfield Maribis. The first new item that caught my eye was Yellow Brick Road Live Badder. Yellow Brick Road is a sativa cross of Ghost Train Haze and Oz Kush BX1.
Ghost Train Haze is one of my favorite Work Sativa of all time, and Oz Kush BX1 is one of my favorite sativa-leaning strains from Bedford Grow. This batch tested at 76.33% THCa, 2.99% THC, 0.18% CBDa, 2.16% CBGa, 0.68% CBC, and 82.34% total cannabinoids.

Before sampling the Yellow Brick Road, I pretty much knew where the flavors were going to land because of familiarity of the parent strains. So I did something I hardly ever do: looked at the terpene profile before sampling the Yellow Brick Road Live Badder.
The two primary terpenes were limonene and β-myrcene, followed by terpinolene and β-caryophyllene. Secondary terpenes were no surprise either: terpinolene, β-pinene, α-pinene, and linalool.

The shiny-golden badder’s consistency was extremely easy to work with for rigs, vapes, and on top of loaded bowls and joints. The aroma and flavor did not stray from the terpene profile and parent strains. The first whiff out of the container hit with citrus, pine, and turpentine.
The flavor led with a wallop mix of lemons and oranges with back notes of sweet skunk, kush, and turpentine. The effects also were what I expected with a quick cerebral blast of energy and awareness. If taken in large doses, the haze effects can kick in and cause temporary spaciness, but overall, the head high was focused with intentions.

Yellow Brick Road was one of those strains in which I, as a lover of Work Sativa, would warn anyone who does not enjoy energetic, motivating, and sometimes racy effects or is prone to panic attacks, Yellow Brick Road is not for you.
But for those patients, like me, who love the energy and motivation that helps fight mental and physical fatigue, I recommend Yellow Brick Road for both, from yard work to writing this review. I finished multiple tasks while reviewing this gram. Yellow Brick Road also was great for binging television series, gaming, socialize, and surprisingly for an energetic sativa, as an appetite booster.

I’m often wrong on my assumptions of what strains aroma, flavor, and effects are going to be, but with the Yellow Brick Road, the trio landed almost exactly as expected. I don’t use concentrates during the day and even more rarely as a Work Sativa, but that was exactly what I did with this gram of Yellow Brick Road.
Overall, Yellow Brick Road hit all my preferences with its aroma, flavor, and effect and has become my new favorite strain from Bedford Grow. Now, I am really interested in sampling the Yellow Brick Road flower.
