Homegrown Review: Cannabinoid Lotion by Jane Grow #4
We are pleased to introduce a new Illinois medical cardholder and grower to our Medical Patient Homegrown Reviews, Jane Grow #4. As always, one of the goals for this educational series is to showcase unique medicines Illinois medical patients are creating with their own homegrown. We have reviewed flower, edibles, concentrates, FECO, and other miscellaneous products. In this review, Jane Grow #2 showcases one more way to incorporate her homegrown into medicine with Cannabinoid Lotion.
Jane Grow #2 creates the medical lotion from a blend of CBD, THC, CBG, MCT and other natural oils. Without giving away her ingredients and processes, Jane Grow #2 follows a basic method for creating the lotion with her added twists and turns in the creation.
Jane Grow #2 decarbs the CBD, CBG, and other cannabinoids. She uses a crockpot and tea bags with plant matter to infuse the MCT. She cooks on low for four hours. She then uses the infused oil to whip into a cream with her “other” elements.

The end product is a creamy white lotion with a tropical, fruity, coconut, vanilla, and sweet candy aroma. Jane Grow #2, who has been a medical patient since 2018, started growing because “It’s better, strain specific, therapeutic, and cost efficient.” The lotion can be used for an array of symptoms, from muscle soreness to skin irritation and more.
