In addition to botanically derived terpene-infused pods, such as the Purple Punch I reviewed in June, Stiiizy has brought a line of strain-specific cannabis-derived terpene infused pods to Illinois. The first one of these I ran across was Jealousy, which I recently picked up at Consume Marion.

Stiiizy Jealousy pod is distillate blended with cannabis-derived terpenes. This pod tested at 74.23% THC and 80.53% total cannabinoids.

The flavor was closer to a cured resin than terpene blended distillate. Tones of parsley, figs, and cardamom flash by over richer undertones of cacao, pine forest, and roasted fat. The distillate only revealed sharp edges at the limits, becoming a bit harsher when I pushed the pen with multiple large hits in a row. The flavor remained consistent from the top of the tank to the bottom.

The Stiiizy Jealousy experience was very dose dependent. Small single-hit doses provided a quick acting but short lived relaxation break that released my anxiety. Large multi-hit doses picked up my mood and put a smile on my face while providing a tight headband sensation at my crown.

Eventually this headband spread down into my core, becoming an overall heaviness that weighed me down. Higher doses also induced a cloudiness to my awareness that softened my perception and sapped my focus. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
