Ever since I reviewed the Bullet Train Extracts’ Refined Taste and Payton’s Pie Infused Prerolls, I’ve been looking forward to following up with the two remaining strains I also picked up, Lime OG and Blueberry Cupcake. I’ve been in a mood for fruit and candy strains, and these are two of the most fruit-heavy cultivars in the Justice Cannabis Co.’s lineup.

Lime OG is a hybrid cross of Lime Skunk and Triple OG. This Lime OG preroll was infused with Blueberry Cupcake Live Resin and tested at 0.82% THC, 36.49% THCa, and 38.72% total cannabinoids. Blueberry Cupcake is a hybrid cross of Blueberry Muffin and Wedding Cake. This Blueberry Muffin preroll was infused with Blue Agave Live Resin and tested at 0.12% CBDa, 0.68% THC, 46.12% THCa, and 50.08% total cannabinoids. I picked up both prerolls at Consume Marion.

Popping the Lime OG tube released a citrusy aroma with additional hints of berry, perfume, and cedar, creating a sweet and savory contrast. The Blueberry Cupcake live resin inside the Lime OG preroll dominated the flavor profile with a sweet berry note at the top alongside hints of lime, sage, and cedar.

Inside the Blueberry Cupcake preroll the aroma was much more savory with notes of oregano, roast nuts, musk, and cheese. The smoke carried the musk and cheese as the primary notes with light hints of the namesake blueberry appearing at the exhale. Unfortunately, the Lime OG preroll burned unevenly, which can happen with larger infused prerolls, but the Blueberry Cupcake preroll burned smoothly.

The Blueberry Cupcake strain had an intense effect on me, with pressure behind my eyes and chest building as I smoked the joint. The weight of it felt like gravity had been turned up slightly. As I became spaced out and giggly, I eventually succumbed to the heavy body load and dozed off on the couch.

In contrast, the Lime OG preroll had a more lighthearted effect. It lifted my mood and relieved my low-level anxiety, while also releasing tension in my joints and providing an overall sense of relaxation that made me more talkative and social.
