Review: Candy Store Vape Cart by Legacy
In a few of my last reviews, I spoke about my favorite products to review and preferences for my personal medical needs. Now, it’s time to mention my least favorite form of consumption: vapes. However, vapes and disposable pens are so damn convenient that it’s nice to have one on me at all times, and again, I have a specific preference for clearheaded high-energy sativa/hybrid with citrus and fruit flavors and either gas or sweet skunk as back notes. In another “First Look” review, I found those criteria in the about to be launched Candy Store Vape Cart by Legacy.
Candy Store, bred by Ethos, is a cross of Lemon Berry Candy OG and Ethos Cookies #16. Picked up at nuEra Champaign, this .5g distillate live-terp cart tested at 4.94% THCa, 63.61% Δ9-THC, 0.53% THCv, 0.18% CBN, 1.36% CBGa, 1.89% CBG, and 72.51% total cannabinoids. Total terpenes reached 2.59%, leading with β-myrcene, β-caryophyllene, α-humulene, limonene, α-bisabolol, and valencene.
The flavor profile delivered a mix of sweet cake, lemon, citrus, berry, floral candy, and gas, which was a little more dynamic than expected for a distillate cart. Citrus, fruit, and sweet skunk are my preferred flavors for carts and flower, and the effects fit as well.
Candy Store Vape Cart effects for a 50/50 hybrid leaned more toward sativa with a quick uplifting head high without any raciness and a late-hitting body buzz. For the most part, the head high was cerebral and clearheaded, though several doses in a row did cause a little thought wondering. The overall head high was highly functional and sometimes motivating.
The body buzz developed much later in the buzz, and started with the extremities and eventually moved inward. The light body buzz allowed for physical chores. By the end of the buzz, the high balanced back to a middle hybrid effect. I did some work and cooked dinner after medicating, but most of the time, I was listening to music or watching television and videos.
