Review: Prism Live Sauce by Bedford Grow
@medsforheads
You’ve got to love when a flower matches its name in appearance. A shimmering cola of Super Silver Haze, or a particularly pistil-populated Orange Afghani bud can really immerse someone in the experience of getting to know the cultivar. What I didn’t expect was that the phenomenon holds true with extracts, too. As such, Bedford Grow’s Prism live sauce came as an enlightening surprise.
Prism is an in-house Bedford Grow effort full of its tried-and-true genetics, crossing Rudeboi OG cut with (3rd Coast Panama Chunk x Amnesia Sour Diesel). This gram tested at 80.39% THCa, 2.79% THC, 2.12% CBDa, 0.47% CBG, and 85.25% total cannabinoids.

High-terpene sauce without THCa diamonds is like soup without matzah balls, just as flavorful but less satiating, so I wasn’t upset at all when I opened the gram of so-called sauce from Maribis of Springfield to find a motherlode of geode-like crystals lightly moistened with terps (4.91% of total composition).
A bright watermelon limeade scent effused from the dish full of chunky facets, alerting me to the presence of limonene, terpinolene, and b-myrcene, the concentrate’s most dominant terpenes. The sparing amount of golden sauce that glazed the transparent pebbles of pure cannabinoids went a long way in providing a sweetly hoppy flavor to a dab. In the background hung an oakiness reminiscent of barrel-aged bourbon.

Each time I fired up my torch, I had a decision to make: wait until the quartz reached 525 degree Fahrenheit and get a smooth, tasty inhalation but leave a puddle of liquefied THC or jump the gun and gobble up a rocking head blast but surely cough myself red.
For the first few minutes after a hit of the Prism sauce, my pupils boggled along a Mobius strip, unable to settle on a fixed point. I felt engaged, ready to dance to music or dive into an engrossing game.

The potent, active and fairly clear-headed high was great for multitasking as long as no single task was too serious. Medicinally, I’d recommend the extract for experienced dabbers in need of a jump-start to break through chronic fatigue. Other (3rd Coast Panama Chunk x Amnesia Sour Diesel) crosses from Bedford Grow include Wild Berry Breath, Lake Effect, Rainbow Sour, Candy Coast, Mecha Chem Diesel, Galloping Ghost OG, Prism, and Chicago Dawg.
